I see a massive opportunity for a bull run of epic proportions. It seems there has not been much buzz about a World coin other than its debut and the founder behind it Sam Altman. For me this is a technical trade setup based on the current market conditions however in hindsight of how XRP tends to pull back even during a bull run, I will practice cautions in how I enter the trade therefore I either for the pull-back towards 2.26 price or a breakout above the symmetrical triangle and then enter on the support retest. Xrp has outperformed large market cap coins by a mile, do you think it is done? I think not! Like any other supply and demand dynamics in trading the market has to consolidate and this has been the necessary pullback in order to launch even higher prices. This bull cycle is unlike any other because it has a confluence of events. First president elect Donald Trump won the elections and his stance on being crypto friendly sent the markets into a bull frenzy. The SEC chairman Gary Gensler is about to leave office after Trump said on his first day he will fire him because his been suing every crypto companies instead of building a frame work so that companies can comply with. The incoming SEC chairman Paul Atkins may completely drop the Ripple case especially that they were classified not security and may fall under the regulation of the CFTC. Utility is about to kick in as a new paradigm beginning to be accepted in America and around the world. So it has Begun!!!

I am interested in both the short and the long trade however the longer time horizon trends still support long position plays. The case for long positions is based technical analysis that the bull trend is still strong and has not yet been broken but we must bear in mind the recent shift in Feds monetary policy rates. What it means is that money has become cheap to borrow, inferring that investors are likely to invest in high reward investment and gold is generally a safe guard against turbulent times. In summary investors may reduce their gold holdings triggering a sell off because smart money has already removed their plays from gold and are waiting for better technical entries (Long). Most times when you are new to trading you would want to chase price and this pair at the moment is gone but do not despair bears are about to give us an opportunity. Gold has been building an ascending channel for the past weeks. The current price is a median of the channel however price is above the both dynamic moving averages, the confluence of the channel and moving averages along with the horizontal support indicate the upside target.
