This formation could also be called an expanding triangle according to Peter L Brandt.First trendline touched. Until the price exits this formation we don't know where Bitcoin is headed. Exercise patience as the price action develops.

Bias: BullishKey support: 64k Key resistance: 74kWe got a good scare yesterday when BTC's price fell under 64k. However, today, it's back above this key level. As long as Bitcoin sits above 64k I am bullish. But not all is good on the stock market. Japan's Nikkei dropped 6% today, worst drop since 2020. Looks like the increase in interest rates by Bank of Japan nuked their market and contagion is likely. This could bring some bearish winds against Bitcoin and crypto at large even if the market is preparing for new highs later this year. We got a lot of mixed messages, but Bitcoin still appears strong vis-a-vis other risk assets. Curiously, Gold is also ready to make a new all-time high. Considering BTC is digital gold, perhaps these two assets may pump in these times of uncertainty as a hedge to falling stock prices. Expect a lot of volatility in the coming weeks. STX is approaching ATH levels, but this can go higher. Every time BTC pumps, STX pumps twice as much. BTC Layer-2 solutions will thrive in this market and STX proves it. BTC/USD - MAJOR BREAKOUT. 69k NEXT or ATH! Bias: Bullish Key support: 48k Key resistance: 58k, 69k (ATH) Bitcoin broke above 50k and made a new high in 2024! In the process, it turned the resistance at 48k into a key support after a successful re-test last night. Next targets are 58k and 69k ,with the latter being the ATH. This price action is making even the most optimist bull look conservative. Bitcoin is less than a 40% pump from ATH and we barely entered the second month of the year! At this rate, BTC can easily break ATH levels BEFORE the halving in April. I don't know how this year will end, but so far it has exceeded my expectations. Part of the reason for this performance can be credited to the ETFs that have been buying over $500 mil in BTC per DAY! Only yesterday, ETFs dropped $630 mil into BTC. The price action is not shy to show this. In my opinion, the resistance at 58k is not that relevant. All eyes are now on the ATH target at 69k. Bitcoin broke two key levels since early November: 36k 42k The next key level is at 48k. This moves surprised many as Bitcoin entered its 8th consecutive weekly candle to be in green... WOW This is RARE. I don't know when BTC will take a break, but it would be a good to consolidate these recent gains. In a bull market, BTC can retrace between 20-30%.
