The theme this time around is "not dropping with Bitcoin." I chose Dogecoin to start because Dogecoin is a big project—market cap wise—so it shows that this isn't happening only with the smaller altcoins. This is a marketwide phenomenon. After weeks of bearish action support remains intact. Then we have Dogecoin. Dogecoin has been moving within a bullish consolidation pattern. It has been producing higher lows since early this month. Here is the disparity, Bitcoin is retracing but Dogecoin is consolidating. The truth is, both Bitcoin and Dogecoin are consolidating but Dogecoin has an upward bent on the lows while Bitcoin has a downward one.
