I have marked my current area of interest for potential scalp trade set ups. Not really looking to do much until the news, but my analysis for some quick pips could work if a set up comes up. I missed the move up, but I am watching to see if we move back down to take out anyone in Longs that are in profit when the NY session starts in 30 minutes. Big G gets shout out. For me, I am going to wait to see if we can get one more push down towards the red candle marked on the chart. So if we can push down to the $17 / $19 area, that would be a great buy opportunity. Hello traders. Taking a look at the spot gold 2 hour chart, we are coming up to an area of interest for me, which is marked on the chart. For now I am just watching the 2 hour, the 4 hour and the 30 minutes candles. We have the unemployment claims tomorrow here in the US, so today I am mostly observing, although I can see the potential quick scalp trade set ups for either direction. Just an FYI, I don't do a lot of technical analysis charts, using the Fib, or wave theory, etc. I day trade, so for me, the charts I put up are based on price action, what is happening at the time of the chart being posted. Hello traders. As per my previous post, gold moved through my area of interest and I took a small micro lot position. Sold from the red line, closed 75% of the trade's profit at the next red line. My remaining 25% of the trade is the runner, and I will let that run for a bit. My Stop loss is at my entry point, so zero loss, profit secured and I am thankful to BIg G. Let's see what the NY open does in a few hours. Be well and trade the trend. More analysis to come.What a great scalp trade. This is why securing profit early on is the only way to make consistent gains. With the NY open, we can see the entire move down has been corrected. Always the same formula. 30 pips or so in profit, close 75% of the trade's profit, move my stop loss to my entry point ( break even, no loss) and leave the runner ( the remaining 25% of the trade) running. Shout out to BIg G. The profit formula is all Raja Banks and Uncle Ted, props to them. I am done for the day, but will monitor the charts and see what's next.
