Gold is experiencing a short-term technical correction, the main uptrend is intact. The decrease in US-China trade tensions and the increase in USD (DXY) reduced the safe haven demand, resulting in a decrease of around 2%. Profit taking created short declines near the USD 4,300 level. The Fed's hawkish stance makes some investors cautious. Technically, support is around USD 4,200–4,220. If it holds here, gold could test the USD 4,300–4,360 resistance; otherwise 4.150 USD may be seen.
