Targeting new ATHs for gold in next few weeks. Two failed attempts to break and hold outside the orderblock. Third break and retest I want to be entered in longs, 1:3RR 1%R, will swing this trade until target is reached. Plenty news this week with USD. Will be interesting to see what develops. I believe gold wants to climb higher.✅

Golds moved crazy in recent weeks. Currently watching for some sort of pullback.Although ATH has been created, with the slowing strength of the dollar we may see some correction on gold through the rest of March.I would like to target some sells back down to this corrective level, I predict that current area and the OB present may be a good time to sell.A nice 1:5RR with 1% risk will be ideal, something I will confirm with in soon date.Cheers

Buying Gold due to the failed close below 2016. I predicted 2012 last week, but to see this I'd anticipate good confirmation. This has not happened yet, CPI has dropped gold over 150 pips, now im expecting a clear push back to 2025+ area. Ive entered at 2016.54, targeting 2029.54 and my stop is set at 2013.54. Monthly resistance for gold is around 2050. I think in time, hopefully by month end gold will be back up at this area. Following on from the news, Biden has sent $100m to Palistine as aid. This will effect the dollar price, and theoretically push gold further up. We have seen strong bullish movement with gold, Powells speech yesterday has caused a nice rise too. Currently im basing most of my trades and strategy soley from news. I use OBs and FVG, but co ordinating this with fundementals, we can clearly suggest gold will not come down anytime soon. Especially as the war in Israel is current.In time we have finished the week on 2000

We can see golds holding above this 45 zone, which is a good indication of price to push higher. Possibly back to 1960. A lot of wicks at the moment so I wont be entering as of yet. London is about to open soon, I will hold off until then, then look to enter in longs as its still in an overall bullish trend.Longs scalped, next target 2000 :)

Upon research, here is the fundemental reasoning for my gold entries. I have placed an order at 1853.5 I think gold has not given up with with the push down as of yet. And I feel asif theres further to go. As far as the Israel and Palistine war is going:USA seem to already putting there nose in, sending warships over etc. This is only fustrating Hamas. Theres no doubt Hamas will not win this, Israel has the backup of many countries including an ally of NATO although not officaly apart. Weve seen the spike of gold from massive reserves being sold off. Golds hovering around the 50-60 area. Whats interesting to me from reading, is that what Saudi have to say. We know Saudi are a very powerful, oil rich country with massive gold reserves too (323 ton they hold). If they get involved we may see alot of market movement. For the good or bad i can not comment. Watch gold closely, probably better to look at trades before news is announced. But as this is war, and news is news, we cant predict. Just to put in perspective, Saudi have more gold than Bolivia, Finland, Cambodia, Belarus, UAE and Argentina together. But are still only at 16 in the world for holdings. If we look at Saudis oil reserves, they are No2 in the world. They’ve got 65.4 years of oil reserves stored, And produce a whopping 10.85 million barrels per day. That’s est. 1,725,150,000L per day.Crazy figures. Ill update this post with daily and weekly thoughts. In summary, I feel the war unfortunatley has further to go. This is only the start. Tap and respect in my FVG on LTF. Watching to see if we see a push back up to the 1827 resistance area. This is a strong high so i doubt the break, but definitely a re test. Gold 4Hr support around 1815-16 area, Weak low so after a touch of 27 i will target 16.Pullback as expected to 1821. Still in this trade.TP adjusted to 1829, I see a touch of 1930

Targeting sells from 1944-46 area. Golds sudden bullish movement to this price has caught my eye. I believe FOMC will not raise rates, thus I think it will have a huge impact on metals. There could be range up to that 1948, my stop is at 1948.5 with 2 targets 1940 and 1927 which was around the area of 25 key support. Ive implemented the use of FVG, BOS and CHoCH, Im slightly adjusting the way I trade news, and trying to play it safer with setting orders rather than instant executions. Overall this trade gives me a 1:1, 1:3.75 R/R. XAUUSD has had a nice pump recently, looking at previous data, I can see that +12K is forecast for this months NFP. This should boost the Dollar. While dropping gold and other pairs. Ive entered Sells around NY opening, will hold through NFP with a bigger than usual SL. Time will tell, always use risk management, and extra caution when trading news.
