I honestly dont know every trade term I literally just do me, and i am profitable. This new method im trying with boxes, it takes a recent signaficant high/low, I wish I could say how i identify it but my eyes just see them idk. Then I wait till it breaks up, after confirming the trend usually you can tell by several factors, 1, by where the D candle is going for the day, This chart it was magnetted towards the upside, Also because of the SMMA 200 on the 1 Hour timeframe, the wicks are still above, meaning we can expect a small reversal, hence why I took the early two trades. Those arent really the strategy just quick thinking for a couple entrys I saw. Then after you confrim the trend and see the break out of the frist box, you wait for it to hit a retest, then a double re-test, if it doesnt double re test its almost a 50:50 of where the trend is going. EVEN if ytou confirmed the trend. This chart it went smoothly and Presented a entry, where I got in at the low of the candle on the 3 minute timeframe (Best Crypto timeframe when used with 1 hour and daily btw.)Set a double take profit on the "actual trade" Since the first two I wouldnt of done if I wasnt sure of them, Smacked tp 1, Smacked tp 2. Simple as that. If it didnt, I wont care because I will take this trade 100 more times this week, I know im profitable and do NOT care about the outcome because I know it works. Ive been back testing this LIVE, not with history and it has returned a good % overall these past 2 months. Around 25% of my inital capitol, which is very good for just short term scalping.
