Gold prices are currently trading in a weak and slow-moving range, as investors remain cautious and wait for a decisive move. From a fundamental perspective, Fed Chair Powell ruled out any guarantees of a rate cut in December, which supported the U.S. dollar and limited gold’s upside momentum the key resistance zone remains around 4000. A breakout above 4000 and sustained bullish momentum could push prices toward the next targets at 4022 and 4045. However, if the price fails to hold above 4000 and continues to look weak, we may see a downside correction toward 3968, and possibly 3920.
