GOLD – Seventh Weekly Gain as Shutdown Fuels Uncertainty Gold is set for its seventh consecutive weekly gain, supported by expectations of further Fed rate cuts and safe-haven demand from the ongoing U.S. government shutdown. Although profit-taking earlier in the week briefly pulled prices lower, markets continue to price in two more rate cuts this year, keeping bullish momentum intact. Technical Outlook After testing support at 3,819, gold rebounded and is now trading near 3,869. As long as price stays below 3,869, short-term corrections are possible toward 3,859 → 3,844 before resuming higher. A confirmed stability above 3,870 would support continuation toward 3,893, with further upside at 3,914 → 3,936.
