XAU / USD : trend forecast AUGUST 06, 2025 Scalping ⚠️Gold (XAU/USD) trades under mild pressure in early European hours on Wednesday, snapping a four-day winning streak after tagging a near two-week high. The upbeat mood across equity markets weighs on safe-haven flows, pressuring Bullion. Still, several macro drivers remain supportive and may limit downside, cautioning against aggressive bearish positioning. Friday’s softer-than-expected US Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) and Tuesday’s weaker ISM Services PMI have reinforced concerns over a cooling US economy. As a result, market participants continue to price in a Fed rate cut in September. This has kept the US Dollar on the back foot and continues to offer underlying support to Gold in the near term. ⚠️ Selling pressure in Asian and European sessions remained, breaking the trend line.
